Making a move

We are seriously considering making a move away from London/Essex and for 2 reasons:

  1. I don't want to bring up my kids where I live
  2. The work around here has seriously dried up over the last year

A big part of the decision where to re locate to is how busy the area is.

I know the Midlands is obviously a great area to gain work from but it's the only place we really have ruled out.

As mtvan has many members in many areas i thought i would try and get some feedback from members what different areas are like.

I'm not new to the industry by any means so I feel I can re locate without too many problems and any info would be gratefully appreciated.
