Hi Folks,

Just to make you all aware that there is another scam on the rounds a person claiming to be from the work exchange Couriersoncall, they are offereing local multidrop work on the site Gumtree.

I have spoke to Alec the owner of Couriersoncall and he confirms they have no such roles and haven't placed any adds to that effect, they are currrently working alongside gumtree to have the adds removed.

Whilst we're on the subject of scams on Gumtree, this came up a couple of weeks ago

"Van owner drivers required for adhoc work out of Cornwall 
Small van to large vans ...No cars must be an established O/D 
No start ups less than 6 months."

Contact number was given as 01752 642440.


Curiously enough, this telephone number belongs to Cullompton Man. He must be running out of victims using his usual methods so he's now having to advertise for more.

I think that's his standard business model ... not paying the driver.
