Rule No 1. "Posting of libellous or defamatory comments is strictly forbidden. We're sure you understand that anything that could bring the site into disrepute will be removed immediately".

What is asking if any other members are experiencing the same problems as me got anything to do with rule No 1. especially in light of the fact that I have been told by website admin that emails to me are often returned as undeliverable.

Just trying to find out if the problem was at my end or the sites!

It does seem a tad harsh to close a topic that is merely asking a question of the site, but maybe cos it was answered and they're looking into it they felt it was getting repeated too much....or maybe not....just guessing

I think "maybe not!"  just looking at the posts in "Rate for Transit swb" There are defamatory comments about City Sprint, Rico logistics, Anyvan and Shiply but they've not been censored.

We all want this site to work as an alternative to cx but when things go wrong or are not quite right we should be able to openly discuss them, so they may be resolved, without fear of hypocritical censorship.

CX delete quote a few posts as it goes...mostly cos a great many of them seem to degenerate into personal attacks from one member to another and/or when some threads try to name and shame other members.

As for City Sprint and Rico....they weren't slagging them off were they?...i thought their pricing was being questioned that's all.
Anyone offering less than 70p per mile should be tarred, feathered and strung up with a big sign saying "We don't respect our drivers or the industry we're in"...anyone offering their services for less should join them...now that's slagging em off!!!

We agree with you 3D and will not delete a genuine post or discussion about a problem with the site. When the thread turns into a rant about us (or anyone) it doesn't help anything get resolved and will be deleted as it detracts from the main purpose of the site.

Ranting about something (normally when the full situation is unknown) brings our site into disrepute so you can expect for it to be deleted.

I am not willing to discuss this any further as I think we have made our position clear. Our main aim for the forum is to build a useful courier resource where various companies can discuss things relating to their business.
