Am I correct to say that the mileage seems to be as the crow flies and therefore inaccurate?

6679No, the mileage is still accurate by road. I have added a note beneath the mileage to hopefully explain this.
The reason I have altered the mapping is because getting those routes on the road from Google has a much lower daily limit before they send me a whopping big bill.
