Well what a morning get a job this morning pick up from a farm house (instruction are if client is out parcel will be in car port next to patio heater)

Arrive to pick up parcel no one in so go into car port and there are 3 parcel hmmm which one is are as none of them have the delivery address or name.

Ring up person were doing job and explain there are 3 parcel and none have names on they ring client who tells them it is a oblong shaped box hey all 3 are the same.

Come back with you will need to open boxes and you will find code on side open all the packages and no code on any well as time flies past and many phone calls finally get in contact with the person who were picking up from and they say there only 1 box in patio well my driver must be blind then as he can see 3 well its the box that stood up next to the tent hey no mention of parcel will be by tent.

We find the parcel hidden behind the tent and are then politely told that if you cant do the job properly we shouldnt be doing the job

Ohh by the way its a needs to be there asap parcel

Felt like doing that but being of a kind nature lol just phoned the company were doing it for and told them who said they would contact there client (delivery point) and tell them whats been said

Ah, you're doing it for someone else, ok, different matter.

They should be doing the ringing round in that case not you... And waiting time should be ticking away.

Sounds like a case of take the plum out of your mouth and stick it up your fundamental orifice,

Did you not get full details from start before you set off, ie instructions, collection as well as delivery address and anything else that might be of use.. and then reconfirm as then its not your responsibility if there are problems further down the line as in the above case.. to me it sounds like its the fault of the subber not collecting full information? so you could charge for wasted time.

Instuctions were if person wasnt in the parcel will be left in carport opposite the front door next to the patio heaters.

We get there and there are 3 parcel with no address on them so we got told to open them and a ref number would be on the side of the box.

After opening the 3 boxes they were just plain boxes with no writing on them after several phone calls and then being able to get hold of the person who we were picking up from she then tells us the parcel is stood up next to the tent when driver has looked the parcel had slide down behind the tent and this didnt have an address on either

Despite us offering to install a Fax machine in their dispatch Unit so they can "Phone & Fax" detail through when they eventually decide exactly where they want us to make the delivery, often to a different address to that which is on the paperwork.

Oh and their dispatch Unit doesn't even have a clock on the wall.

Turnover in 2011 -12 over £32 million.

And when you arrive at the destination 100 miles away within 2 hours of leaving the collection point they tell you " six hours to do 100 miles, what the hell have you been doing"
