So the big fuel companies may have been doing some backhand dealings, not much of a surprise really.

Still the Government take most of the cash in a litre of fuel.

I doubt that if the oil companies are guilty of upping the cost what effect will it have at the pump.

Maybe the price will come down... Maybe?

Then again if they are found to be doing something wrong and got fined they would just put the price at the pump up to pay for it.

Corruption and deception seems to be everywhere at the moment! Do these big companies think they are above the law or do they think they are powerful enough to make their own laws.

I like the idea of that but like BA they will get a minimal fine that is insignificant compared to the money they made by price fixing.

Giving them a fine does not work! Send them down, maybe that will make them think about what they are doing,

What my biggest gripe is the over-inflated (sometimes 15p extra) prices at motorway services. Fuel companies claim additional costs force this to be.. Well how much more do they pay that indian bloke at watford gap rather than watford town centre?

And how is it i can get Kfc from motorway services for the same price as any other outlet? The same applies to Mcdonalds and Costa. They don't rip you off cos your a captive market.

I will never fill up at a Motorway services, I always keep my tank full and never let it get below 1/4 if I can help it.

I just got robbed at the petrol station. It's getting real bad over here. I called the cops and they asked if I knew who did it.

"Yeah it was pump #5," I replied.

Motorway services are mainly frequented by fuel card users where the price at the pump is irrelevant, a cash/card buyer see's a few vehicles at the pumps and fills up they are the fools

I use a BP card and to get the cheaper rate you need to use there bunker sites which are normally only on the Motorway
