I see fuel prices are rising slowly again, it was £136.7 last week, its now £139.9 the cheapist I have seen this week.

There are fuel cards and then there are fuel cards.
If you can get a "Platts +" card then you will not go too far wrong.
Beware of those offering "x" p below national price, you would probably be better off with a pump priced card.
And seriously, the main problem with fuel prices is the first £1 per litre not the last 2.5 pence

But even were you to be pulled out with local 50 mile jobs the battery hire brings the per mile running cost up to the cost of running a diesel!
