Fuel

I see fuel prices are rising slowly again, it was £136.7 last week, its now £139.9 the cheapist I have seen this week.

Its gone up by 3p in the last week at my local garage

Diesel was £1.52 at Wetherby services today.

Glad I'm paying 67p for LPG.

Have notice Bradford is cheap at the Mo.. £1.32 for unleaded

The petrol station was hammered, people queuing everywhere. (I only stopped there for a Gregg's sausage roll and a cream cake). Now that's value for money!

Wow 3p what cut in price.

Sainsburys have 10p per litre off if you do a £60 shop, this week.

That's a very good price, who is that with, I don't bother with fuel cards these days but that has got me interested, ta.

No it does'nt... I used mine the other month and it actually cost me more than what it would have done if I had paid cash... Not used it since.

There are fuel cards and then there are fuel cards.

If you can get a "Platts +" card then you will not go too far wrong.

Beware of those offering "x" p below national price, you would probably be better off with a pump priced card.

And seriously, the main problem with fuel prices is the first £1 per litre not the last 2.5 pence

Its not that good a price if you add vat, ie. Around £1.36p.

It is what it is, If one charges correctly it should NEVER be an issue.

Do you mean in journeys less than 120 miles?

While on the subject of Kangoos, I need a replacement engine for one of mine, anyone now where I might get one? It's a 1.5dci on a 05 plate and only done 74 k miles!

But even were you to be pulled out with local 50 mile jobs the battery hire brings the per mile running cost up to the cost of running a diesel!
