City Sprint knowledge test

Hi guys,

Ive been an engineer for the last 5 years in and around all parts of London but have recently been out of work, city sprint sent me a message and asked me to come in and do a basic knowledge test

Just wondered if any of you could let me know what im gonna be in for and what kind of questions they ask you so im prepped

Mark. Dont waste your time going. They pay crap mileage rates (50pplm.). Have a look at the recent threads about them.

We have had city sprint deliver parts into us and to be honest only a few had a basic grasp of English. Is this knowledge test for things such as breathing?

But they make you feel good for 30 minutes while they tell you, you can make a fortune, and you get a nice logo on your van

Haha, i have actually seen a few of the posts, than ks for the heads up but ive got absolutely nothing else in the pipeline, its gta be better than dole money even if it is only a little...

I have to say, I think this post is another wind up.

So long as you know the 'Theory of Relativity' Pythagoras theorem and know your multiplication tables off by heart you will be ok!

Seriously, if you are happy to work for peanuts, the job is yours!

If they offer you 40 pence a mile tell them it's too much.

Not being funny lads, im out of work with a young child and another on the way with rent to pay, i came on here looking for answers... Not on a wind up at all

If theres a better option of work out there, let me know!

Uk mail are looking for owner drivers mate as is majority of the parcel depots to get ready for the xmas rush, multi drop though but owts better than being on the dole

A bit of constructive criticism na, but na as a courier name doesn't inspire confidence neither does the fact that you haven't registered GIT insurance on here, plus you don't say what van you've got. These are just basic requirements if you want to get work on here. Most of the guys on here are pretty helpful and I'm sure they'll pass work your way. Good luck.

Q1: Do you speak English?

If the applicant answers no, rub your hands with glee and run him like a donkey. He obviously can't get any other work because he's an illegal immigrant!

If the applicant answers yes, in a British accent, politely tell him that he is over qualified for this position.
