Well its been over 3 months now since i last worked and i am getting very close to returning to the road. With that in mind Has there been many changes in the last 3 months?

I have heard that the colonel has reduced the size of chip portions while increasing the price of a 3 piece meal? can anyone confirm?

I have heard that city sprint and Rico have increased there rate per loaded mile to 99p due to a lack of subbies. Can anyone confirm?

I have heard that the Highways Agency are urging motorists to look out for stolen traffic Cones and have declared an amnesty for the next 2 weeks on any returned. Can anyone confirm?

I have heard that the Pukka pie company have issued a statement declaring that all beef used in their pies is from local suppliers and do not contain any form of equine DNA. Can anyone confirm?

I have heard that MTVAN has been flooded with newbies wishing to say hello to current members and have struggled to get a courteous response. Can anyone confirm?

I have heard that Job centres around the country are issuing guidelines on obtaining a position in 3 key growth industries.

Applicants are being given advice on how to become a Courier, becoming a window cleaner or delivering sandwiches to industrial estates. Can anyone confirm?

All I can confirm is that Peter is on his way to Edinburgh right now, and will be heading back up to Glasgow at 10am tomorrow.

As for me, thanks to the equine DNA in the majority of supermarket produce I am now doing a roaring trade by going to the local abattoir once a week and still managing to do Peter's invoicing, accounts and VAT returns without any headaches.

:-)

Scott.

As for the idea of Rico paying 99p per loaded mile. I don't think even the Daily Star would try that one on :-)

You know you'll miss him, Rob! If you could decipher what he was saying he made a lot of sense sometimes. (Sometimes he didn't)..
