I had an interesting call from a cx rep last Friday trying to get me to join. He told me that they are currently getting about 2000 jobs posted every week and would I be interested in some extra work. When I told him that I would probably only use an exchange site to post work he said that they were not taking on any vendors at present as they can't cope with the current work load.

Not to knock CX to hard as Im sure there really nice people.

But I spent loadsa time chasing money from some of their cleints.. That in the end I think it cost me as much chasing debtors as it did to become a member.

Strange thing for a cx rep to say. Workload?....I thought it was mostly automated!!!

(I now have this image of an office full of cxers texting each job to their members..lol)

I'm wondering if one of them is a member of mtvan, under a pseudonym, and is phoning all the members in the directory?

He didn't call me back so presumably he has enough quality couriers on-board now.

Perhaps. Have any suspicions?

We regularly challenge people who have iffy looking information. Also we are looking at ways we can restrict access to contact details without making life hard for members who will contact others for genuine purposes.
