Locked topics

Don't do much on these forums but it appears a lot of locked topics recently and stories of topics being removed altogether.

Are MT running scared of losing potential loads to advertise and bowing to pressure from individuals, or are they correct with what they have done?

Some topics go off the subject and/or start getting personal at which point the moderator (admin in this case) step in and "edit" those bits that break the rules and/or close the topic. Some topics are even removed altogether. It's all too easy for someone to deliberately wind us all up and all too easy to gain access to this forum so it does happen, albeit rarely.

We're a pretty friendly bunch, some contribute more than others, and there's the odd rogue, but they never last long

Rule of thumb? Don't discuss politics

We don't need bickering on the forum.

From forum guidelines:
