The national speed limit on the motorway for my car derived van is 70mph But if you drive a transit or sprinter type van the limit is 60mph. How many drivers are aware of that one?

How many drivers have actully been stopped !!!!!

There are a few laws like this but they choose to enforce HGVs on single caridge way roads

I thought once you get behind the wheel of a sprinter, that it was law not to drop below 85 mph, I think you highway code is out of date!

I'm afraid you are wrong.

The speed limit on the motorway for a sprinter or transit is 70mph, they are classed as Goods vehicles (not more than 7.5 tonnes maximum laden weight)

On a dual carriageway they are limited to 60mph and on a single carriageway 50mph

My copy of the Highway Code clearly states that I can go as fast as I damn well like ... providing I don't get caught.
