Hi

Anyone knows whether im paying too much for goods in transit insurance ?

Currently £36 a month with Axa

I'm guessing over 10 months? £360 a year I'd say so

I think I paid £190 this year to cover 3 bikes & a van

You might want to try insure courier. I got my insurance from them with h&r, PL and GIT all in, I was getting daft quotes from some companies but this company save me a lot. I suggested them to someone else and he save money on his renewal

That doesn't really help as it doesn't identify the individual cost

Im with giles insurance brokers and pay £220 for 2 vans. £25000 GIT 5million public liability and 10 million public indemnity. Just be careful because a lot of the cheaper companies(read the small print) will NOT cover the goods in the van while parked up overnight

We had vans insured through cornish for 2 years and changed this year for a much more expensive broker but the level of cover was more suited to our needs.

Hi all, if interested we pay £858:60 for 4 vans. 10 million employers, 5 million public, 50 thousand git and this also covers goods in vans overnight

I have just taken GIT out with AutoNet insurance £10,000 cost me £95:00 also took £1,000000 of public Liability out for a further £65:55. Hope this helps.
