Debt Collector & Tracing Serices

Can anybody please reccomend a good debt collector/tracing services?

I know it sounds strange but check them out first, We instructed a debt collector and 2 weeks later they went bankrupt and another collector bought their client list and wanted to charge more.

I have used Thomas Higgins . I have had my fair share of this and that and I have found that I have been more sussesful when I have remained polite fair frendly and understanding . Easier said then done but when I have took things further I have always got the impression that I have gone to the bottom of the payment list . Try to talk to them and get an understanding for the situation I think too many people shoot themselves in the foot in these situations just by sending emails and reminders ect . Talk always talk maintan a dialog dont aliinate them as it is counter active

The debt is a couple of yeras old, the women did a runner, I used direct route at the time and they said they could find her without it costing me more than the debt, I have bided my time with this because I did the job instead of visiting my dad who was dying in hospital, so it more than a debt to me, any way here name has cropped up on linkedin, same name, same area doing the same job, so I feel its time to pounce.

We had a print client, They owed £500 ish and it took us 7 months to get paid. The customer said on many occasions just send a driver in and i will have a cheque ready and each time she popped out before he arrived.

I then asked them to do a little bit of printing (about £45). I thought i would string them out a little just for fun really.

Jesus christ i had constant calls almost daily and Threatening legal letters after 2 weeks overdue.

When i pointed out that they had took 28 weeks to pay she said i was being unreasonable and she would'nt print for me again.
