How to check someone courier insurance If I get someone to work for me as self employe Basis? Anyone can help? Thanks

Ask to see there paper work and believe you can call there insurance to check. Hope this helps.

Third party can not check insurance I believe, same as DVLA check he/she has to be there.

Same as someone knocking on your door asking to read your gas meter, if they have no id, they don't get in... Nothing to do with data protection, if they want to work for you, they will supply you with what you want to see, and if they don't then find someone who does...

Presumably they want work, and to get it, the very least they should expect you to want to see is their insurance docs, GIT and photo driving license. Unfortunately there are those that don't care, and as a result there are drivers out there who are not insured correctly and have no GIT... But thats another story
