Thanks to everyone who has completed the survey so far.<br><br>(It's still open, if anyone still has some stuff to share).<br><br>Here are some points that have come up in the results, where there may be some misunderstanding about how mtvan works:<br><br><ul><li>ALL members can post work, whether owner drivers or companies.</li><li>There is no fixed rate. The member post the price they want to pay and couriers bid and negotiate as they see fit.</li><li>Allocating a job is optional but recommended as it means you can build up feedback and reputation which helps attract subbers.</li></ul><br>I will be putting up a full summary of the results in the next few days...<br>

jezze [name] it's all good posting the work on here if we could get the damn work covered on here regardless of paying or not, its the couriers not paying that need to be dealt with as this is hitting confidence

Do you mean a courier delivery quote, I think you mean an insurance quote.<br><br>If it's a UK courier job i'll knock your socks off at that price, however I think you mean an Insurance quote.<br><br>Sounds steep though, get a few quotes<br>

sounds a lot to me...try light haulage instead of courier

PMSL &nbsp;sorry guys my mistake yes it was for courier insurance. Haulage is a borderline insurance cover innit. Dont know how that went in courier forum. sorry.

[name] do you have any private no claims on a car or if able to obtain a letter from a company you may have worked for doing similar or the same work ie subcontracting

I used [business] and got TPFT for £650 as yes it's for carraiage of goods for hire and reward!!<br>

I paid £1250&nbsp; full comp for a 120bhp lwb master inc 25k GIT , 5Mil public liability AND breakdown cover
