GPS Tracking For Couriers

Loads tracking today.

Including one in Northern Ireland and one in Slovenia.

Note, map excludes Rep 0-9 people, so you have to have contributed something useful to mtvan before you appear.

Not officially launched yet, still testing. Feel free to help with that.

How can we help with the testing...

A minimum of 1 feedback therefore removing anyone you hasn't either subbed at leat one job or accepted and successfully delivered one job.

They have a blue tracked location on the map. They are using our iPhone App with tracking turned on.

It should be a good system once its launched. I've left it running.

Running in the background the app looks good but could do with more content ie work allocated on the dashboard screen.

We have in mind to add more features to the app so you can use the app in the cab rather than needing the website.

What would everyone see as the most important new things to add next?

At the moment you can get free alerts, see the work, make offers on it, and switch tracking on and off.

Its looking good for the app at the moment but it does need more features job syncing and signing would be a good start the next update ad well as being able to invoice from the app

We've added a few features to this, and have speeded it up a lot.

(Also helped by our recent server upgrade).

You can use the whole site on most Android devices.

The only bit you don't get is the tracking/

Take a look at this free app for android (there is a windows version too)

You can set it to upload the gps data to YOUR server then do what you want with it.

EG: A signature of your current location
