A Simon will call you from London with a collection from a Pri/address local to you, with delivery to Mr Tallar at a commercial address in North London in this case Willesden but then change delivery to a shop in Hatton Garden, where he will agree to meet the driver outside the shop after you call him on mobile.

If any of this resembles the job you get its likely a dodgy card

I've got a £100 that says so.

Because they think its something new to them and we have never encountered this behaviour and wont be suspicious, not only that they've been watchin to many films or takin too many sherberts..

They usually change the delivery address as if you are aware of this scam the address given will appear on google street view etc and seem legitimate. They tend to book your service late afternoon and then make excuses for an alternative address such as we had to lock up at 5. The alternate address will usually be a "Lock Up" or shared house. You deliver the goods to the front door and they simply walk out of the back door with them. It's the same with meeting at a motorway services, Where is your comeback and how would this stand as a POD.

Also be aware that if you also accept payment for the courier service and it is a stolen card, You WILL 100% have this clawed back by the bank. It is in all terms and conditions "IF THE CARDHOLDER IS NOT PRESENT YOU ARE LIABLE FOR A CHARGEBACK" This happens when the real cardholder notices the transaction, Disputes it and files a claim. A chargeback can happen upto 180 days after the transaction. Always get a landline number do not deliver without seeing and taking the details of the card. We even query the delivery with the person sending the goods. They constantly call you because they are excited at getting the goods for free and can't hold it in.

They give you an address to make it look genuine, then at the last minute they change the delivery location to what effectively is a van waiting on a side street, the goods come out of your van and into theirs, then they speed off never to be seen again and no one will ever know where the goods have gone.

The courier is just one in the chain of who gets shafted, the big sting is for the retailer who has lost £2,000 - £3,000 worth of goods, paid for on the same dodgy card they paid you with.

I got the phone call, smelled a rat as soon as he started talking, offered payment on delivery, yeah right, how stupid do these people think we are?
