Picked a job up from a printers today that did a job for the mrs's firm & they are after a courier to help them out , no good to me being Essex based but any one interested pm me and i will get back to you   p.s. dont think they sell photo copy paper lol

Only just noticed this! I do a lot of subbing work for printers out of Tunbridge Wells, one of whom had a cashflow problem. I was wondering if it might be them looking for a different courier company???? I have PM'd you by the way, Neil, as obviously, seeing as I'm often in TW, I'd be interested.

We would be very interested, as would others.  We repeat what we have just put in the personal message we have just sent you "please call us for a polite and amicable conversation.

Finally from the outset we choose not to court printers as  part of our customer base.  Unlike most courier companies I know we choose to aviod them.  They tend to want extended payment terms and also their loads are often problematic.  Ask anyone who has subbed for us if they have ever collected from a printer on our behalf.  I know the answer they will give.

I've done a lot of subbing for printers and they can tend to be a pain. I once did a job cheaply on here because I was picking up from a printer en route to, and delivering close to where the mtvan exchange job was going. Picked up the cheapie, went to pick up from the printer and I'm almost there when they call me and cancel the job. My subber paid me an abort fee so it didn't work out as bad as it might. On top of that there's a lot of weight to carry for relatively small space taken up in the back.
