Is there a way to see quotes that you've made?


I think it would be handy to be able to see a history of what you've quoted on and whether you won it or not, also if there are any outstanding offers

Maybe even spot if you've mis-keyed the price so you could adjust or re-quote with the correct price.

I think you know whether you've won a bid or not, so not sure why you need that feature.

I wouldn't worry about those that have been unsuccessful. It'll just make you paranoid about your pricing policy. If you're quoting 70-75p per mile then rest assured you're in the right ballpark.
I see you got one today from H so you're obviously doing something right

Not sure how I missed the first response above, but no, I didn't win the job with H unfortunately. Think I was the only one to quote on here, someone elsewhere must have phoned or CX'd it perhaps.


As for two yesterday, well spotted, are you officially my stalker now? lol

As you have said in previous threads Rob, making use of the way this should work. A job from you put me in the vicinity of another job which, more by luck than judgement, was just after I'd completed your job.

I still stick by some of what I asked for in the first post though, not from the point of view of getting paranoid about pricing. What I would like is access to see if I mis-priced something by my dyslexic typing. Also, to see if I regularly quote to one specific company and never win, at least then you can ask them why. I have already had experience of this, I asked one vendor whether I was miles out pricing or too far away from pickup etc and the reply was 'best to call as we're too busy to check the online bids'

That is why I called you almost immediately after placing the bid on mtvan, just in case that was your preferred method.

If you put in a quote online, make sure you write it down and keep it. However, quoting via the online system is not to be recommended.

It's always better to call and submit your quote verbally (That goes for CX as well as MTVan).

But in both cases, write it down and keep it. Then you can look back at your leisure.

Just to elaborate on my comment that quoting online is not recommended, the reason I say this is:

People working in a busy office with telephones ringing almost as soon as they have put down the receiver don't have time to look at emails.
