I saw a mini oven for lorry drivers /camper vans etc in the local cash n carry . At just £8.99 its an absolute steal .However can anyone advise how i can use it through my 12v system? Is there a transformer available on the market that will convert from 24v ?

If you want hot pies, fish, etc, wrap in foil , and put on your engine, 15 minutes at 60mph should do it. For faster cooking times place directly on exhaust manifold. (Put soup in metal container, cup, pan etc, and cover top with foil). You can also do hot water using old camping kettle, for nice fresh coffee. Note:- stop engine when whistle sounds..

Are you sure you would hear the whistle blowing in the engine bay while travelling at 60 mph, I find a small electric kettle plugged on the cig lighter works fine, I stop when the steam fogs up the windows. lol

Remember to get your oven gloves on when taking hot food off the exhaust.

You can also cook your tinned food on your exhaust ... Just remember to pierce the lid(s) first.

For cheese on toast .. Use a 240v toaster through your inverter. Turn the toaster on its side, place in the bread and cheese into the toaster. A few minutes and hey presto.

Bacon, eggs, sausage, Black puddings, Can all be coocked in foil on your exhaust as suggestde by Mr. RGM. But allways taste much better with toast...
