I just had a look at their site. They have been going since 2005 and are members of the FTA. It looks ok. There seems to be a mixture of work on there. It costs £100 per year to join, it might be worth taking a gamble on it. Even as a place for, I hate to say this swear word, back loads.

So why is a back load swearing?

Thanks guys for the feedback- im doing a free trial on it at the moment but after being on there for a few hours and seeing the kind of alerts that were coming thru i panicked and requested that my membership be cancelled. I was urged to give it a chance for a few weeks before i make my final decision but to be very honest nothing so far has popped up around my region and it all looks like stuff off auction sites thats been sold. Seems like it had real couriers on there at the start but have moved to other exchanges -
I always feel I'm cheating a local courier out of a job if I quote a backload rate. But we have to do it to survive I suppose. It works both ways as I must lose out on work when it happens locally to me. All part of our industry.
