Cleanliness is next to godliness

Come on be honest now lads How often do you get round to cleaning the inside of your van? Have you found old Chips,bits of chocolate,kfc sachets of salt or worse accumulating under or around the sides of your seat that have been their for decades?

No we always clean them every week well I do !!! We really look after them last year I sold our N reg flat bed that I brought when it was two years old I only replaced it with a 10 plate flatbed because of M25 smoke alarm !!!!! This old truck lasted us 15 years not because they go on and on but because we alway took care of it . If a van has a untidy inside I normally think it reflects the maintance program and normally Im right ! These things are going to make you money you should look after them and put some money back into them

Dirty vans?

Last week I agreed to take some furniture to the recycling centre for a customer (you can probably see where this is going already...). Before I arrived the lady rang me and said 'oh, there's also some old carpet, but don't worry, i'll pay you extra'! 'Ok,' says I.

When I arrive there's also an old dog kennel and some household refuse which stinks of stale urine. And everything had been kept outside and had become infested with snails. 'Don't worry, i'll pay you even more!' I was having a bad week and needed the extra cash, so I agreed.

When I got round to the tip, they'd just changed to their winter opening hours and closed early, so everything had to stay in the van until the next morning. The fog when I opened the driver's door the next day was simply hideous (no bulkhead). Snails were crushed all over the floor, and it's still infested with large spiders which keep landing on me as I drive.

Never again, whatever the money!

Hey you should've told her the Council have special vans for that!!!..and round here they usually cone round on a Thursday

Yeah, I will do in future. It was the sacks of household garbage thrown in that got me. A bit insulting to be honest.

Polish have some of them drive in was and wax places ive seen on the sites of old petrol stations, oh sorry polish as in turtle wax lol

My Iveco Transporter doesnt have a speck of dust in it, all that extra rubbish, just think of your fuel MPG.

Gosh Mr G, maybe I should start a new business here, and you can be my first customer...

I think I'll call it 'Spit n Sparkle'... or 'Gob Glam'
