330It reminded me the other day driving up to Edinburgh how glorious the countryside is in Scotland. Made all the better by the sun streaming in through the windscreen trying to suntan my forearms. This was re inforced yesterday driving up through the Galloway hills into Ayrshire. Galloway, Borders, Highlands, Aberdeenshire - I might be biased but I think we have the best countryside up here in Scotland.
Thoughts?
It's moments like those which make me think I could do this job forever :)
I know the Highlands and Islands better than I know the lowlands. I've driven to the Uig - Tarbert ferry more times than I can count but I could never tire of it.
I also did a lovely job for Speed a few weeks back to the Newark area. I was done by around 10:30am, the sun was out, and I had a really idyllic (semi-)rural drive back to Norfolk.
Most of the UK has lovely bits.
