Hi all, I've been sub contracting for another courier firm but the work is not regular enough, How does this site work? How do you receive payment? Can you charge vat as I'm vat registered, The big question is what's the best way to quote / rates so you don't price yourself out the market. Any help would be appreciated

10314When quoting on this or any other site you do so without adding the vat to the quote. If you are vat registered you add the vat when invoicing, and you invoice the seller direct.

2821I agree quotes should be before vat but also specify this ie £100 +vat

5839Welcome Sjs, and good question. Speed is quite right, and on the job details page there is a note to say "If you're VAT registered, please quote exclusive of VAT" in case anyone is in any doubt.

Also agree with the above, always good to make yourself clear any way.
