Apart from being a courier, what qualifications do you possess?

Apart from being a professional driver or rider in what you do, I dont know if running a business is a qualification / skill in itself, and from the obvious qualifications gained in colleges, which could be listed

What other qualifications have you gained / possess to fall back into other sectors of work..

For Instance:

I personally have a current SIA door supervision badge plus all the certificates to keep it updated, I also have a current VOSA mot Smart card for class1/2/3/4 (mot tester). I have all Qualifications in the motor vehicle technology with a b-tec2 as well.

would love to hear of some interesting ones..

Before I packed in going to sea to loose money as a courier (haha) I was master of a British registered ship licensed for trading any where between Norway and the Medi on my british certificate but worldwide on my Nederlandse Antilles one. Am at present sitting on board a sand barge running twixt Fingeringhoe in Essex and Deptford creek in London as I was asked to do a favour for a couple of weeks.

Got a class 1 HGV and CPC national as well, but nowt in bank!

Electronics Technician.

Got B. Eng. (Hons), Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Used to work at Jaguar Cars in Liverpool as a manufacturing engineer.

When I completed my masters degree in Global commerce I decided that the world of fiance was not for me so I trained as a dentist and gained my degree in dentistry! I then went on to study the knee and ankle and then gained my third degree in limb geometry allowing me to practice in guys hospital in London

Been offer a chance to work as a team on maritme security personnel (anti-Piracy), but i need to a lot of training to get my certificate's and alot dosh, my driving one was £2k :-(

Im CCNA.. Cisco Certified Network Associate and have also done the Cisco IT Hardware and Software course at Leeds Network Academy. Im into IT and especially the black art of Networking.

Oh yes, former Submariner, Polaris Submarines, served on HMS Repulse and HMS Revenge, Petty Officer(Sonar). Done defensive driving, Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving. HGV1(LGV C+E) Hold driver CPC.

Qualified welder, HNC in Retail Management and NC in Blacksmithing and fabrication.

I'd have thought one would make far more money in IT?

Unfortunately, I did the quals just as the recession started so there were no opportunities for old codgers like me.. Im 54 btw. And yes Rapid, I'll gladly help you out if you have an issue and its within my scope.
