job confirmation

<P>would it be possible to setup a job confirmation to be sent out by vendors? somthing simple that would include the vehicle type, collection/delivery details, purchase order no, the agreed price and name of the vendor. a lot of info can be missed over the phone. like agreed prices from the vendors side and things. this is coming from the drivers side. just a thought</P>

Just been looking at the Allocated sheet for sending to the subbie, [name]!<div>I find that you cannot add or ammend the collection and delivery address, it just goes to a blank screen when you "save changes"?</div><div><br></div><div>You cannot change the collection or delivery times, which has been a problem for some time and has been reported often. You cannot edit the eta/pod info and the "allocated to" is blank.</div><div><br></div><div>It would also be better if all the bumf on the left did not print.</div><div><br></div><div>Otherwise a useful tool, or a revamp of the pod sheet which can be downloaded direct by the subbie.</div><div><br></div><div>Any other comments lads?</div>

I'll see what I can add to the POD sheet to improve it's usefulness.<br><br>This control room type stuff is likely to happen anyway as we are rewriting the control screen soon.

What would be good is for the vendor to use the quick post to get the job on site asap with as little detail as possible,then when you go to allocate the job you have the full set of fields to fill in with extras like job ref,customer name,price agreed etc.

I thought this was a feature already.....i put postcose to postcode times and van size only, then when allocatin you have a load more fields to fill in

Hi [name], just had another play with the allocation page and it seems the problems start if you try to edit the dates and times, which is a pain if you forget to alter the default collection and delivery dates, which a lot of us do! Just a few tweaks and the driver pod sheet should be fine.

another thought, could you setup notifications for jobs coming into my area as well as going out. I realise that most jobs come to me on the way home but sometimes I could pick up one on the way out
