Hi Peeps I would just like to take this oppertunity to say thank you to members that i have been in contact with on here for work given to me along with advice shared. I'm starting a new job on Monday due to the lack of work these days aswell as the low rates people expect me to run at. This job pays well and gives me the security and time i can spend with my family. I wish you good luck for the future

Sad that a 'top bloke' has to call it a day.

Thanks for all the work you helped us with Darren.

I hope things work out well for you in the future, It is just such a shame that one of the few who does the job properly has had to jack it in!

Sorry it's not worked out, Darren. I've enjoyed correcting your spelling mistakes (it's "opportunity" by the way!). All the best for the future.

This is the way its going, the big companys turn round staff like no tomorrow & don't care coz they get 50% of the money when the owner driver does 98% of the work, London is a nitemare regarding traffic you need 4 separate payers going in to make it worth while, & every job now is mega urgent because of the internet, last week the company I do my main work for sent 4 vans in 30 mins apart 2 to the same drop, its ludicras, can someone tell me were the 40-50% commission came from, when I started in the 80S it was a flat 20% is it just greed now, I cant wait the 9yrs to my retirement, this job is not the fun it used to be, ive been at it 36yrs. Hi Darren, Sorry to hear its come to this.

I know you have to do what you have to do to put food on the table, if I had more work out your way I certainly would have passed it to you.

I thank you for your services in the past for helping out, you were one of a few whom were positively good at what they did..

All the best for the future
