Hi to all couriers

Iam looking for a cheap courier quote if anyone knows of and low insurance rates please let me know many thanks in advanced.

I've just renewed with autonet through go compare, they were by far cheaper than my last insurer who I'd been with for 5 years!

Try Bollington. Do you do multi drops? If you only do 3 or 4 deliveries a day put Haulage instead if Courier which is a cheaper rate.

I tried that and got laughed at... Motorcycle Haulage! Hmmm just doesnt have a ring to it..

I tried Stavely Head myself & found them to be a nightmare. Try Insure Courier, they are quite reasonably priced

Had my renewal in post today, £942 with Cornish (no penalties for any change of vehicle mid term!)

Try A-Plan Tooting £1149 for HR £10000 GIT + PL for a Kangoo tel [phone]

A-plan asked £5,500 without GIT etc, i paid £935 including GIT and PL with coversure

So when asked by insurance company what is your anual mileage? What sort of figures are you guys telling them?

Exactly... Thats why all these quotes are so different, insurance is a very individual thing and made up of a lot of elements and so trying to compare with other drivers isnt very constructive. Shop around is the answer until you find one you are happy with. Its time consuming and frustrating and hard work.

Compare sites, they do the work for you... simples

When you are shopping round, remember to Google the company too - e.g. Southern Rock has a pretty bad write up.

Southern Rock are part of Go Skippy, for me, having never had to make a claim, i can't compare insurance companies, good or bad, i have nothing to base my decision on, so my choice is mainly done on price, whether that is right or wrong, who knows

NFU by far was the best quote. I was with Coversure for a few years and from what I can gather it really depends on where you live as well. They quoted 2.5k for a new vehicle I'm looking at a Vauxhall combi, NFU £1,100 for exactly the same cover. (Not. Multimate drop BTW)

We all get different quotes from all the companies. No more than THREE drops per day can get Haulage insurance which is generally cheaper but some companies like your insurance to state courier work.
