If my phone rang at 4.15 am I wouldn't trust myself to give a coherent answer.

Why?

Because sounding credible on the phone having just been woken in the middle of the night is a skill I'm yet to master. All I can manage is a sequence of gasps and grunts.

Good answer Camvan, but if you want you can phone [name] up at that time just to see if he needs any practice, lets be honest not many people sound good on the phone when you have just waken them up.

Not the greatest thing I agree being woken up, but as [name] found out machines break down even at the most inconvenient of times. At least the traffic tends to be quiet at that time. Fortunately this holiday period has been much quieter work wise than normal. Nothing Christmas day or boxing day whicoh is a first for many years. Busy Friday all day and only one late job new years eve but driver was back home by 9.00m. I spent the previous 2 new years eves driving to Glasgow, so was nice not to have to go out.

Had a collection for the 2nd January in Italy but colleague I gave job to spent long weekend break with his wife in Switzerland, so he was happy. :)

It is a skill sounding normal after being woken up.. and one that I am good at, but the difficult bit is holding onto them whilst going downstairs and waiting for the laptop to fire into life..so can give a quote.. just means alot of apologies and talking..

Hi GMS, Didn't need the laptop to fire into life as I have done work for them all over the UK & some jobs into France, they told me when they rang that they would pay me double the normal rate, that's because when this machine is down it cost them over 18K per hour which has a knock on effect in the rest of the factory
