Having tried numerous sites for B an B in Aberdeen and surrounding areas with little joy, does anyone know of CHEAP places to get ya head down up in bonnie scotland. Best I have found are hostels or £32.00. Bed and shower is all we need without all the amenities offered. I am sure all the knowledge out there will give me some excellent guidance.

Thanks guys

Aberdeen is a very expensive city. Have you tried Travelodge places and the likes?

Try laterooms.com. I got a 4 star hotel for £23 in Torquay. Was a bargain for a last minute booking right on the seafront as well.

Booking.com and TripAdvisor are pretty good too. I got a hotel on Brighton seafront for £30 not long ago. As for Aberdeen try around Portlethan.

The cheapest rooms on the net are found at www. Airbnb. Com staying in someone's spare but clean room you may have to give a days notice but in most of the WORLD you can get a bed for as little as a tenner a night

highly recommended by me as i have used a couple of homes when in Scotland

No way would I stay with a stranger!
Make sure you keep your wallet safe Mr G

I have to say, I can never comprehend all this penny pinching trying to save a fiver or so!

Travel lodges are available for about £50 almost anywhere, and if the delivery necessitates an overnight stay just pass on the cost in the original quote for the job!

Truck stops are good value but you need to phone first and see if they allow van parking. Some don't.

You can try this site.

I always used to stop at the old Europa truck stop in Lesmahagow, where a room used to cost about £12.00 a night and you could get a huge cooked breakfast in the morning, but sadly it has been knocked down and replaced with a huge Tesco superstore.

Ahhh I remember it well! The one in Ashford in Kent is good. It's about £30 a night though including breakfast.

Its not profit I want its sleep. What if the companies you do work for grumble at the pplm never mind trying extras. Go on all say 'dont work for them'. When ya live in a cardboard box and beg for meals its soooo hard to find good work.

All say 'AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH'

I stayed at the Mary Rose 'hotel' in Orpington a few weeks back, Should be the 'scary rose' it was a total dump! One to avoid but I would employ the photographer who made the hotel looking so plush, The trains were so close that it rattled the non functioning TV and the UHT milk cartons, There was no food on site due to a gas leak (not there fault) but it would seem the norm to microwave ready meals in a grubby kitchen on the first floor so the waft of supermarket horse lasagne in the room was just lovely!

Those that do 'cheap' are this industries worst enemies. It is because people work for crap rates that crap rates are offered! It isn't rocket science!

Charge accordingly [name], so you don't have to slum it. Good to hear from you again [name]. 12 months is a long time. My rates are not 'cheap' guys, it was just a case of building up steady and re-learning. I have no intentions of becoming a millionaire, I feel anyone i have worked for would have no problems using my services again.

Thanks for the comments guys but I only wanted basic sleeping info. :-)
