Find trade plate job adverts and work back.

Never heard of bidding before.

Most have their own s/e drivers (paid a pitance) so would only be odd jobs.

Also having a sniff around the net and found the following

Cupio VM ltd do car delivery, i assume the VM= vehicle maintenance , a quote no less

Once you have delivered your vehicle you may need to travel between delivery and your next collection point, sit back and enjoy the World of public transport, or if you thrive on a challenge get your trade plates out and catch a lift, assistance will be given with fares between jobs in accordance with company policy.

Competitive remuneration is based on the number of vehicles delivered and the mileage driven, we currently pay in stages up to £27.00 for the first 100 miles driven and then 27p per mile thereafter, making a nice 150 mile drive worth £40.50. Our minimum pay rate is £18.00 for a journey of 1 mile to 70 miles.

Interesting in that it says driven ... Or to put it another way your getting 40 quid from driving from stoke on trent to london and somehow getting to collection then somehow home, How they expect this to be a living wage is beyond me! It would cost more than the 40 quid to cover the public transport part regardless of this so called assistance, why does everything in the delivery world operate on the cheapest common denominator?
