Can anyone shed some light on why rates have dropped to around 50pplm!on some sites? After accounting for fuel and maybe a minimum wage per hour we still have to maintain our vehicles WHICH COST'S MONEY! AND IM AMASED TO SEE YOU STILL DONT GET THE JOB AT THAT STUPID RATE! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON PEOPLE

Which sites and how do you know this was the going rate for the job or jobs in question?

Yes do tell... I'm sure there's a few vendors on here that'd be interested in those rates... lol

Don't stir the pot Mr Speed, I was shocked to see a member posting availability of a Sprinter at 78ppm the other day.

Geez thats scary but shows the way the job is going. Its pull ya finger out and get some legislation or go to the wall eventually. 'I'm alright jack' may be ok for now but jobcentre is waiting they have a place with your name on it.

mtvan and the members on here that ive had the pleasure of sub'ing for have been great. This site n its members have been a saviour for me cos I've built a decent base just from being on mtvan. About time others follow suit!

We have had a month's free trial on Courier Exchange and quite frankly most bids that have been offered to me are LOWER that I would pay my regulars!

You see the problem [name]? Even the big one is becoming an auction site. 150 miles backload rate paying £40. (26.6666pplm).

If Couriers want to quote/bid low then that's up to them. It's the vendors payin low rates and/or expecting low rates where the problem lies
