I called a courier company to price us on a weekly ongoing NHS job of only 11 miles.

They said sorry we do not quote any job below 50 miles.

I said can't you price it on a minimum charge and he said no sorry we don't do that.

Their website said the usual " Any item, anytime, anywhere.

This was for 1 box once a week.

What do the rest of you think?

Its their business so they can run it how they like. I'm sure there will be plenty of others who would take it on... ...

If I was in your area I would be more than happy to quote you... Could you not quote on it Allen as your both close to each other?

It might not be in this area anyway Gary, as I am sure N&D would do it themselves?

I can see where they might be comming from I have to be a bit careful what I commit to we have 1800 miles a week of contract work and everything and everybody has to be where they need to be. Its easier for me to commit to small local jobs than long runs and that isthe case for most small companies
