3179Our Rule of thumb is this,
after booking if a driver has been sent and the job is cancelled a min charge applies.
If the driver has not yet been diapatched then we don't charge.
If it's one of our regular customers and they have to cancel and we have dispatched the driver we tend to not charge the customer but give the driver a call out rate.
To be honest it doesn't happen very often and i have had 1 in the last 10 months i can think of.
238yeah it sounds reasonable to have a min charge as i'm sure there will be times when they cant find the parcel or its been organised by someone else and another courier has taken it, think ill put one on my website so i don't get people cancelling due to change of mind, it will only be if I've set off as that seems fair.

10314I'd go for a £15 minimum charge plus waiting time if applicable. If it takes em an hour to sort out then £15 ain't going to be enuff. How about £15 call out plus £15 per hour or part thereof...with 15 mins free....

238i like the sound of that but i don't want to price myself out of work by having too many charges, lol

i think ill try the min charge on its own first then if i do get held up a lot ill introduce a waiting charge.

thanks
