Fraud alert

I have just had someone trying to book a job Leicester LE7 - London SE28<br>first 2 cards declined and 3rd went through.<br><br>He then wanted the driver to call just before arrival so he could meet him with the 3 boxes.<br><br>Private address to private address <br><br>Mobile number only,<br><br>It just sounds too dodgy to me.<br>

very...we get those although the delivery is usually in an OL postcode!!!

Oh Yes, I voided the transaction on the card that was accepted.<br>

and be warned...the card may well have gone thru BUT you'll find its chucked back at you....we had one chucked back 4 months later so don't think just gettin authorisation is enough...IT ISN'T

We know!!!!<br>Once bitten, We had a chargeback of £192 a few months back.<br><br>I called [business] but they couldn't say if the card was suspect or not and that it was up to me to carry out the delivery.<br><br>I voided the transaction , Called the guy and said the bank called and cancelled it and he has to call them directly.<br>He said what am i supposed to do now, I said get your card and go to the cash machine.<br><br>I will get back to you came the reply...................................That was around 4o mins ago.<br>
