I just posted this in another thread but no replies. I just had a quote from Southern Rock insurance for Courier cover which included 30 days European cover. I was wondering, how would they know if I delivered into Europe 29 times or 50 times? If nothing untoward happened would I have to declare to them that I've been over the water (or under it)? I was quoted an extra 75.00 for up to 90 days cover in Europe.

On my policy I have to notify them 24hrs in advance of travelling to Europe for cover to come into effect.

Thanks for that Mike, they didn't tell me that so that answers my question. It just seemed another way of an insurance company getting more money of us for no reason. Trouble is, when I deal with insurance I have it in my head that it's just legalised theft and we get ripped off.
