Yesterday I took the day off ironically to await a delivery. The van duly arrived single manned even though there were heavy items so I offered to help. He informed me I was not allowed to help I had to watch him struggle. Apparently the last customer that helped one of their drivers died of a heart attack & the family are now suing the company. I even had to sign a form stating I did not assist the driver.
Customer not allowed to assist with delivery?
