Saw the Who in their Finale farewell Concert at the NEC many moons ago.

Probably the worst band I have ever seen live!

No, not probably, definitely.

My worst band, The Smiths 1984.

Not seen them, but have seen many so called 'acclaimed bands' who in my opinion were shite!

  • Queen, Coventry Theatre (absolute crap)
  • The Ramones, Warwick Uni (terrible)
  • Eric Clapton, NEC (so disappointing)

Many others who were appalling, but a few were amazing.

  • Led Zeppelin, Coventry Locarno (just Brilliant!)
  • Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, UB40 Cov Theatre (excellent)

Lots of obscure like The Groundhogs, Judas Priest, Colloseum 2 etc etc (all v good). Pink Floyd superb too.

Sadly now in my ageing years, Andrea Bocelli who we saw last November at the NEC (amazing voice).

Best Pink Floyd Earls Court (the year the stage collapsed--had to reschedule but deffo worth it) Also Black Sabbath in Ronnnie James Dio days (Mob Rules Album-Excellent) Killing Joke At Hammersmith Palais 1989

And Saxon, Motorhead, Cheetah, Michael Schenker Group (MSG) now there was an underated lot, Tank (with the immortal line "love is like dragging your balls across barbed-wire"), AC/DC-Back in Black tour,

And the best til last Rammstein--the best live show you will ever see

Ones to disappoint

Bruce Springstein Wembley Stadium back, Dire Straits Wembley Arena a week later

Unfair tho as the tickets were given to me---really weren't my thing

No doubt forgotten more than i remember... lol

Saw Billy Idol last year in Faro... Fecking waste of money, he was shite, not that I paid to go see him, it was the fact that he was part of the party.

Saw Motorhead at the same party in Faro 2000.. excellent

AC/DC monsters of rock donnington 91, fantastic. Our lass knows Brian as her dad was mates with BJ's dad.

Stranglers at a bike do in witton castle not bad, but saw Hayseed dixie and captain sensible as the damned at the same event, they were excellent.

Yep cant argue with that, the best pink floyd tribute Ive seen was a band called Shine on.. Absolutely awesome, Another fantastic band called LimeHouse Lizzy tribute to Phil and Thin Lizzy, OzzBest tribute to Black Sabbath, ELO Experience another fantastic band, they are all worth a look if you get chance, another one worth a look if you get chance but be advised to wear a helmet, its Megadeath and the morrismen, also rats in the kitchen which is a UB40 tribute band, I can go on and on.

Our lass books bands like this and named bands for Large Events..
