6 week schools holidays are upon us...

It seems that from the 22nd of July here in Yorkshire the 6 week school Holidays are upon us, which may mean for some not much work in the sameday sector, but busy for others.. so thought I'd pre-warn you if nowts coming through and your wandering why there aint much work about..

Hi All, its the the same down here in Colchester, it just goes dead for six weeks. Im afraid there's nothing we can do about it except get out there and try and find some new customers. Regards Ross

Strange how that happens! Not many industry sectors shut down for six weeks do they?

We go quieter on European deliveries in August, as France pretty much DO close factories and industry for the whole of the month.

Look on the plus side rush hour isn't as bad when the kids are off (didn't know so many kids drove)

Doesnt make any difference on a Bike though... having said that with austerity and all that I think its going to get worse, I have noticed alot more folk are shopping around for price, and are not that bothered about urgency as long as it gets there in an hour????.. Even had a guy yesterday ask how do you get to that figure? He was probably expecting the service to be the price of a postage stamp..

They all want an overnight rate for very urgent sameday

6 weeks holidays are a good time to get away and recharge your batteries for the run up to Christmas. :)
