30 days eom shud mean paid by eom?

Did a job 1st of August 30 days eom so due yesterday 60 days later to then get an email saying we paying you on 7th by cheque wtf taking piss or what never again will I work for these

I feel you pain, have had the same thing happen to me. Done a job 1st August, checked bank this morning to find no payment. Was going to leave it until Friday and chase them up however cheque arrived in todays post. So that's an extra weeks credit for them on top of the 60 days they have all ready had.

I've got to wait till 7th for them to send it out so that's 2 weeks extra unreal mate

Breach of contract. Mr Gas Motorcycle Couriers is correct. Make a note of these people and don't do any more work for them. I have a list of ten.

Oversights do happen so I dont worry too much about late payments. Mind you it aint happened yet.

Slowest payer I have is my own brother lol he is always late.

I don't accept "oversights" If you arranged to do a job early in the morning and forgot to set your alarm clock, then claimed it was an oversight I would think that the courier company would not be best pleased.

I have 3 invoices 32 days overdue from a member on here. I've always been fexible with this member as I get regular work but lately I've i'm having to chase payment everytime. So now I think this is going to be no more mr nice guy and late payment charge will be heading there way. I don't think this comment will be on here long before it's deleted

As you haven't named them, i can't see it being deleted.

I too think that we should have 3 strikes and you're out re payment. Or at the very least suspended until payment is forthcoming.

If a Courier doesn't collect when he should and does it more than once, are you going to use him again?

So why should a Courier be expected to wait over the agreed time for his pay?

There getting trade rates and to be professional shud pay before or on eom we pay 14 days from invoice for any work undertaken but usually paid within a week so don't worry if you do a job for me guys thanks

If you pick it up in the morning and forget to deliver it till the next day can you claim it was an 'overnight'.

Why are they paying you by cheque and not straight into your bank account?

Because cheques take 5 or 6 days to clear in a business account.

Well it's Saturday 11th and the last cheque has just cleared so that's 11 days over when I shud have had cleared funds this company rang me to ask for a job to be done for me to tell them to shove it

Don't forget that usually the person ringing you isn't the one who's responsible for paying you, so often its them that get it in the neck, but rarey them that has anything to do with it. Just saying

1 job was allocated to me on mtvan, the other was by phone call as I have been doing for the past 18 months with this vendor.
