My mate informs me that they are about to launch a"mini" microwave which works from the cigarette lighter. Estimated rrp is £29.99.<div>Having paid nearly 3 quid for a ginsters meat feast at many BP stations around the country ,this "gem" will enable me to get my raw material from any ASDA at less than half the price .</div><div>In fact i only have to eat 25+ and my microwave will have paid for itself .</div><div>What gadget do you think would improve your life? </div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

780Bet they will hammer the battery though, how long to cook a bacon butty I wonder?

6252A microwave requires a HUGE amount of power, if it's running from a 12v car socket I expect you'll be looking at 45 minutes to cook a pastie.

698Sorry Mr Buisness Buddy My favourite fast food on the move is Instant porridge.. And If you mix the Strawberries and cream flavour with the golden syrup, You get the best of both flavours. And If you purchase them from the pound store its a bogof.

And for Mr Moray & Mr Preston
High power electric equipment such as ovens, kettles even 240v Microwaves can be powered from an auxilary battery, charged from the vehicle system plus a suitable power invertor where applicable. You can fit the auxiallry stuff yourself. The relay cost around £25. Has one +12v input, one +12v output, and a thin trailing lead to earth. The -12v comes from the aux batteries which attach to the vehicle chasis.

3440Just take some butties, you can eat them while driving, you can make them healthy, and you dont have to lumber a microwave around with you, but what about a freezer, you could take choc ices with you!
Allen Transport
698Hi AJM ...
But how do you reheat your butties... Cold egg, bacon or sausage butties with Ketchup or HP... I think in that case I would go to McDougals....! ! Even my dog wont eat from there
Take a cooler box available in stores nationwide... will keep frozen foods for at least one day befor they defrost... Put some of them water filled plastic blocks in the cooler box, which you have previously just removed from the freezer, and your chock ices will stay ready to eat allday.
