Ring and find out... I forgot to ask when they said multi drop..., I didnt need to know any more... I did my time won multidrop with National Carriers (later called National carriers Roadline and finally Lynx).... Remember National Carriers, they had 3 wheel Scammells tractor units for local collection and deliveries of bulk equipment

Read it properly the word Nationaly appers in there somwhere...

So local work is thrown in for some work... And on the fone he said they had 3 vans in Glasgow... And one in Inverness... I assume they rang me, as they were told I had 2 xlwb vehicles ... 10 drops isnt looking to good in a big van with a 3-4 hour drive to your first drop for 8am

He didnt say how many vans... IF ANY AT ALL.. Vans they had that were trotting around Lancashire and surrounding districts.

10drops a day nationally... Think abouit it..

As long as the rate reflects the distance involved there shouldn't be a problem. We regularly do 17 drops on 400 mile runs distributing garden equipment - don't consider it multi-drop though, it is all planned out and booked in the day before. Very different to turning up at a depot at 06:00 and be pointed at a pile of parcels and 80 addresses.

But, I would want a guarantee of payment. Googling that telephone number doesn't fill me with confidence.

Yes that was my point 10 drops at a reasonable rate and distance could be a nice earner
