We have recently undertaken some work for a company called xxxx also trading under xxxx. We were contacted by xxxx. It appears after undertaking approx £1500 that the company has no intention of paying our bill, I've done some digging and apparently he has done this to at least SIX other courier company's in the area. <div><br></div><div>xxxx is based in Ireland but trades from London @ xxxx. </div><div><br></div><div>So if contacted by Mr xxxx, I'd suggest to stay clear or get payment upfront! </div><div><br></div><div><b>[</b><b>Defamatory remarks </b><b>edited by admin]</b></div>

Just an update: It seams that the guy who has ripped us off make a habit of defrauding hard working courier company's out of money.  He also trades under the following company names:<div><br></div><div>xxxx</div><div>xxxx</div><div>xxxx</div><div>xxxx</div><div>xxxx</div><div>xxxx</div><div>xxxx</div><div><br></div><div>He goes by the names of xxxx / xxxx / xxxx / xxxx / xxxx / xxxx / xxxx... these are just a few! </div><div><br></div><div>So far i have heard of 9 couriers that have been ripped of by this guy! totaling a staggering £55k so far!</div><div><br></div><div><b>[Defamatory remarks edited by admin]</b></div>

I've just had to edit this page as I've received a Cease and Desist notice about it. This is a prime example of why it is not worth naming and shaming with actual names, as it:<div><br></div><div>Gets us involved in legal action, and...</div><div>Gets deleted anyway.<div><br></div><div>Hence our very first forum rule asks users not to do so:</div><div><br></div><div><i>"Posting of libellous or defamatory comments is strictly forbidden. We're sure you understand that anything that could bring the site into disrepute will be removed immediately."</i></div></div>

Admin, whilst I appreciate the legal position you are in, I hope you have reciprocated and used a 'cease and desist' on his account so he/she/it can not do it to others on here.<br><br><br><br><br>

Damn no edit function, I meant on the person posting the work not the person named and shamed.<br><br>Non-Payers need booting, should be a condition of membership that all bills are paid within 30 days max (I pay on return btw)<br>

<i>"Posting of libellous or defamatory comments is strictly forbidden. We're sure you understand that anything that could bring the site into disrepute will be removed immediately."<br><br></i>I totally agree with the above but when the comments are true then there is nothing libellous about them - libel is the writing of lies.<br><br>What could be libellous about posting the details of a CCJ on this site - it has already been proved true by a court ?<br><i><br></i>

If something has been through court and you have a genuine link to show it, then yes please post away.<div><br></div><div>Otherwise even if you're 100% sure of something, we'd be at risk of someone going legal on us. Obviously something we don't want.</div>

<P>If a member believes a comment made about them is libellous, then they have the legal recourse to sue the poster.&nbsp; The poster would then be legally accoutable for their defammatory&nbsp;comment.&nbsp; The site is only a provider of&nbsp;an opportunities for members to discuss issues.</P> <P>Administrator, please verify which law requires you to sensor entries made by me or other members.&nbsp; I am very interested in the legal, rather than chosen or ethical, constraints that you operate within.</P> <P>If there is no legal requirement of you, then why the bloody hell are you censoring entries?</P> <P>&nbsp; Anyone I have commented on, or will comment on, like [name], owner of [business] (on this site), who knowingly and intentionally mugged me "legally" of £500, get what they deserve.&nbsp; If these muggers believe that I have libelled them, then I strongly urge them to sue me. BRING IT ON!</P> <P>I again make the request to the administrator.</P> <P>P.S. If any members would like to speak to me please ring [phone].</P> <P>I am happy to to give a verbal representation of facts, therefore potentially commiting slander also. BRING IT ON.</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Kind regards</P> <P>Jessica</P> <P>&nbsp;</P>

Well I rang [name] (and said cheerio [name]! - sorry mate) and I'm glad I did. A proper courier with the right work ethics. It's good to talk.

Dunn Couriers

Dammit, now 'It's good to talk' will have to be changed to 'It's xxxx to xxxx' !

I did some work for [name] [business] based in whittlesey peterboro, hes a subcontractor at [business] st neots he did'nt pay me joker

Dunn Couriers

That's handy to know because my daughter lives in St Neots and I'm always up for work to or for there. Strangely enough there's a PTC in St Neots too. A software company I think.

Dunn Couriers

In case it came over as suspicious, my 'cheerio [name], sorry mate' comment earlier on was simply a&nbsp;case of me saying sorry for calling [name] by the wrong name as I ended the call. It's old age wot does it, guv!&nbsp;
