Brake fault Christmas Eve and I fitted new rear shoes, springs and adjusters on Christmas Day.

Must be time of year for it. Our luton piggybacked in yesterday, front d/s brake not releasing had to go to ford for parts. £32 for a bloody brake flexi, ouch! Fitting it tomorrow, you are not alone lol.

Don't really understand comments like "£32 for a bloody brake flexi".

Your van is your livelyhood, keep it maintained regardless.

Every year you probably spend more on fuel than the original purchase price of your van. Replacing a few wearing parts with manufacturers originals is insignificant in the grand scheme of things just as running the tyre tread down from 2.5mm to 1.6 mm is false economy.

Every tank of fuel costs more than a tyre.
