Hi, I have a few over due invoices and getting no reply from calls or text. I am going to issue a reminder invoice with a late penalty and interest warning. Just want to know if I ever need to add interest to an invoice how much to I charge?

Thanks Georgina

If they are selling jobs on here why not threaten to name and shame?

Hi Try this web site for interest rates. [link]

I have used this once and the company paid up straight away.

Good luck Dougie

It's not an option. Please report problems directly if necessary, in this case please do as we need to know about anything like this.

No fun I should imagine having late payers (may be an oversight), especially when some struggle to get the work in first place.

Don't worry I would no name and shame on here, anyway the company conserned is not a mtvan member.

I'm still waiting for payment from the end of February from a courier in Somerset. All I get is texts saying he has had problems and mine will be the first one paid. That was nearly two weeks ago. I think I will try those options and see what happens.

Yeah feel your pain, I have issued a reminder invoice today and advise next step will be a penalty charge, see what reply I get.

All the more reason to name and shame them, MAybe there's a reason they are not on mtvan

I sent the warning letter but no joy, looks like I will have to go down the small claims court road. I've had offers for debt collectors to pay a visit, the kind who won't leave without the money, but I want to keep it all legal and above board. It might take longer, but I don't want to end up in court on the wrong side of the law.
