Hi Everybody,

Recently joined mtvan and am based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, have been driving a VW Caddy for the past couple of years mostly throughout Northern Ireland. Have recently expanded my area to include southern Ireland and am hoping to build up more work throughout the mainland UK as well.

My question is about getting an electronic signature device, I have been looking at the various options but wondered what people's experiences were with electronic PODs and if there is a device/app that everyone recommends?

2185I can imagine this being included in a later version of the mtvan iPhone app, at some stage down the line.

Although right now, when we have couriers in the mix (courier has client sign their phone), client signature will usually only be legible to aliens.
6252We looked at doing this a while ago and whilst it's simple to do and would be nice to have I decided that a mobile phone number works just as well and a scrawled signature for all the court cases i've won has been good enough.

2148I looked into this a while back and I can use a normal phone with a touch screen,
however the signature on capture doesn't look like a true representation of the persons signature.
1737I use normal paper copy POD's with an Android app off the Android Market, called CamScanner, (it's free) which you can scan a document and upload it to the customer, it works ok but you need decent lighting.
