Courier Directory

After posting a job from Hereford to Bradford, with only 1 response, I spent a good 45 mins phoning members in the directory. Of the calls I made, many members in the directory are no longer operating or their phone numbers were incorrect. I had a 50% strike rate.<br><br>It is imperative that the directory is kept up to date and members are prompted to do so.<br><br>However, of the members I did reach, many were willing to take the job for a reasonable price and [business] came to the rescue.

I agree<div>Anyone who has not been active for say 90days should get automatically removed, then we'd all be confident that the members on here are genuine active ones.</div>

Yes we agree too and have already started to deal with it, following previous comments on the subject.<div><br></div><div>We are gradually going through and removing members who have not logged in for over a year.</div>

Unfortunately the text alert i&nbsp;received for a local job the first one&nbsp;I&nbsp;could bid on came through about 2 hours after it was already allocated.

Hi [name], i see there has been a flood of members updating their details but upon checking I see some are still not providing all the information us vendors require to make an informed decision on who to book. It should be quite simple, until a member fills in all of the forms he cannot register or if they are just trying the site out without too much fuss then they should not appear in the directory!

I do agree that it would be more ideal to have a minimum requirement before appearing on the directory.<br><br>As a stop gap, could those members who have not logged in for a given period of time be removed from the directory?
