As from tomorrow I'm winding down my workloads aiming to be off the road by January February (semi retirement as I am 60) and spending more time on a few other little ongoing ventures, I already sell items of furniture and even the odd antique. Many thanks to all that have covered work for me and thanks to those who I have worked for in the past.

To be honest [name] since I was 60 in August it's been one long party, Algarve, Barcelona and a three day celebration at my house

Gave all my Sameday customers up earlier this year as got fed up waiting 60,90,120 days for payment. Now I pick up deliver and get paid cash there and then.
I always go double manned for the lifting.

Can never fathom out why suppliers with there own payment terms would allow 60,90 + days for payment. I certainly wont accept it.. Anyway good luck and all the best on your retirement.

DHL where my main customer who at the peak where using me to supply up to 5 vans daily, so when they said 120 days I'm afraid it would take a brave man/courier to turn away 20+jobs per week all paying top rates.

Hi H, it's not me who lives in a large new 4 bed roomed house and drives a flashy car and who has just had a lavish wedding and a very expensive honeymoon :-) All offset against the business I suspect (not) Hope both you and the gorgeous Mrs H are well.

Why not just stick a driver in your van and you sit back if it pays well?
