2148Depends if she's wearing stilettos and a boob tube and the gross weight of the muffin top, Can't tell it's a quiet afternoon can you?
Police need to be notified of wide loads greater than 2.9m, it is up to them to decide whether the load requires an escort. To minimise operator delays a voluntary system of self escorting has been introduced with the Highways Agency devising a code of practice - escort vehicles must be fitted with high visibility markings, amber beacons and an illuminated roof sign showing the words 'ABNORMAL LOAD'. Only specially trained staff may act as escorts Rates? All done in house I would imagine
3617Are you doing wide loads on the bike?
310Yes, my arse is a very wide load on my bike...
Maybe, thinking about it. As the only few bikers round here, do want a piece of the action?

Whens the last time you saw a bike escorting a lorry? Can you even drive that slow on a bike?
310I haven't seen it in years. Used to see Police bike do it years ago. Being an Ex Royal Navy, one of my duties years ago was covering for the MOD Police riders doing security out riding. That was a lot of fun. It was mainly things like military conveyers and a few funerals. Now I'm a civy, I need an SIA licence to do it now, and that's about £3k

Ive got an SIA license if you want to borrow it... Lol.. putting that aside, I think bikes are not suitable for that sort of work with H+S and all that plus not much earning potential either.
